Don Pickens, Founder, Milagro Properties
Don opened Casa Cupula in Puerto Vallarta in 2002 after over 20 years in high technology including stints at Microsoft and Connectix, where he brought the famous QuickCam to market.  As a regular visitor to Vallarta since 1997, Don recognized the need for upscale accommodations as Vallarta’s reputation as a wonderful gay destination became more and more well known.  His mission of combining the elegance of an upscale boutique hotel with the friendliness and comfort of a gay guesthouse, as led to Casa Cupula becoming incredibly popular with over 50% of guests now being return guests or referrals. Don has an MBA in management and Marketing from the Wharton School , and is focusing on the World’s Foremost’s marketing activities as a board member.
